Y’all are definitely a lavender loving crowd! We had a massive turn out on Saturday, but, believe it or not (we couldn’t), we actually had lavender left. Many people have asked for more Upicking opportunities. Since we can’t do a crowd all at once again like that, the idea we’ve come up with right now is to do small, registered Upicks this week and next week. The Upicks will be limited to 30 or 50 adults and are $5 for admission (children are free and not counted in the limit). The bundle cost is the same as June 4th and there is no limit on the number of bundles. We’re charging a small admission fee now to cover facility costs. Registration will be via Constant Contact and I will post the registration links are below and in Facebook events.
We’ll get everyone together for that Upick, give a little talk and you can pick during that time period. We won’t have music, vendors, food, or activities. We’ll have our products for sale as much as we can restock. 🙂 We will have water for $1 a bottle and a portapotty. It’s possible not all cultivars will be at their peak as we get further along, but you may still love them as they are!
Registration is required and you’ll need to show your confirmation (printed or via phone) when you arrive.
It may sound restricted, but this is what we can handle based on our available staff/volunteers. This also allows us to spend more time with visitors and share in the fun!
