School or Student Tours
We would love to share our farm with your school, homeschool, boy or girl scout group! School tours can generally be scheduled when the field is in bloom, mid-May – June or September – October (dates vary each year, check our calendar). Tours are generally 1 to 1 ½ hours and can be tailored for your age group. Tour activities could include: learning about lavender, tour of the field, learning about our tractor and equipment, learning about our bugs, learning about a farm system, learning about plant and soil science, topics you may be covering in classes, or cutting a small bundle to take home.
- We do charge a small fee of $5/person (3 teachers/leaders are free!) to cover the activities and time.
- For spring/summer 2018, you can book any time outside of Upick days and when we aren’t marked closed or booked during the season – 5/18 – 6/16. You need to look at the calendar to see the open and booked times! (View the calendar on a desktop, tablet or as full site on mobile devices to see all the detail.)
- If you need to book a raindate, make sure to look at those open dates/times too.
- During the Upick season, we will have portapotties and handwashing sink.
Attention: This is an active farm and field. Bees, bugs, and dirt are everywhere. In general, if the bees are not swatted or bothered, they are on a mission to visit the plants. Please explain to your students to ignore the bees and do not swat them or bother them. If you have a student that is allergic, you are responsible for bringing needed medication.

Garden or Community Groups
Would your Garden or Community Group like to schedule a tour or a talk? Groups can generally be scheduled when the field is in bloom, mid-May – June or September – October (dates vary each year, check our calendar). We’ll tour the lavender field and can tailor a talk to your specific garden interests. We love gardening too! We can also come speak to your group at your location!
