What’s this about a disease?? In 2015, we sourced our original plants to populate the field from 3 different nurseries. One of the nurseries sent us diseased plant material. They had used a treatment that suppressed the symptoms and the plants did not show symptoms until after they were planted. If you attended our Upick event, you most likely saw our sign that talked about that plants we received last year from one of our suppliers had a disease. June 4th, 2016 is a date that will always be burned in my mind. It was our FIRST Upick and it was AMAZING. The two biggest surprises were: we expected 2,000 people and had 8,000 We still had lavender left!!! The attendees were great and our families and volunteers were outstanding. Thank you to everyone!
