January 22 – 25th was the second conference put on by USLGA – the United States Lavender Conference (USLC 2015). I was the chair of the committee and extremely proud of our event committee! I attended the 29th annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference put on by Carolina Farm Stewardship Association on Nov 10 – 12. There were over 750 people there and it was held in Greenville, SC. It was a great place to be exposed to everything agriculture and to meet lots of people in our area. – Mary B.

Keep Portland Weird! We went to Portland, Oregon for the Northwest Regional Lavender Conference II on October 24 – 26. The landscape and scenery in the Portland area is spectacular. We took an extra day to see the natural sites before the conference and were able to see 3 mammoth water falls within several miles of each other and saw a small rock slide.
